"Farmland is being eroded, poisoned, and built over. If we want to manifest a viable local/organic agricultural system, then we need to build soil and farmland by composting our food waste and other compostables. We need to dedicate the food waste to building farmland, because selling it to chemically driven institutions like golf courses, parks, and landscapers does not make us more resilient or sustainable. If we build farmland, prices and access to local/organic agriculture will go in the direction that we desire."

Are you interested in implementing a compost program in your restaurant?
95% of food waste in our country goes to the landfill or incinerator.
This pollutes our air and ground water sources.
Recycled City LLC does not sell compost. 100% of our collection goes to building farmland for the future, in food deserts, community gardens, and backyards.
We make at-least two social media posts per month to say how great you are for building farmland in food deserts instead of building landfills!
We print stickers for the front door of the restaurant. These stickers let everyone entering or exiting the building know about your sustainable practice!
We put your logo and link on our homepage as one of our "compost companions".
In our weekly email reminders to customers, we encourage them to patronize your restaurant instead of others that have not adopted this sustainable practice.
We distribute coupons and promotional information to our residential customers for no additional charge. For example, The Cutting Board Bakery & Cafe had us place a 20% off coupon on the top on each residential bin.
